Beach Haven Bungalows

What a delightful little island with so much to offer year-round—whether it’s summer, winter, spring, or fall! We stayed with our 3-year-old for a last-minute Christmas getaway, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place was beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree and was mostly kid-friendly, which we appreciated. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare home-cooked meals without any hassle. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach strip with multiple access points and only about 4 minutes from Fort Fisher (which was absolutely stunning!) and the aquarium. One of the highlights of our trip was discovering the car ferry, which our son thought was the coolest thing ever. We also enjoyed a quick drive to Southport, where we explored the charming town that’s been the backdrop for many Nicholas Sparks movies and other films. It was such a unique and memorable experience. The area felt very safe & everyone we met was incredibly friendly. Will be back!!

Had a lovely stay here with my fiancée. Very cute room with Xmas decor! The hot tub area was fantastic and clean/well kept. Super fast walk to the beach and pier. However, would recommend checking out their personal website to book. Didn’t know this until after our stay but you can save money on fees!
